This month, meet Deatrice (Dee) Anderson, Outsourcing Task Processor III at LERETA. For the past eight years, Dee has helped keep tax payments on track for our outsourcing clients: training team members, managing pipelines, and making sure escalations get resolved accurately and on time.
What do you do in your role with LERETA?
In my role, I handle current and delinquent tax issues for multiple lenders. Along with that, I’m responsible for training team members and partners and processing escalations. I also handle accurate OOS reporting and manage pipelines to ensure timely resolution for our outsourcing clients.
How long have you worked with LERETA?
I have been employed with LERETA for 8 years.
What is your favorite thing about your job or working at LERETA in general?
My colleagues are what I love the most about working at LERETA. Over the years, the relationships I’ve built with many of these individuals have become ones that will last a lifetime. Because of that, I’ve truly learned the meaning of “teamwork makes the dream work.” I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Tell us about your family.
I am the proud mother of three beautiful children, two boys and one girl. They are Keshan (32), Santrez (27), and Kaliana (9).
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I really enjoy hanging out with my youngest children, since my oldest resides in Georgia. On top of that, I absolutely love braiding hair. I spend a great deal of my time helping others with this art of beauty.
Where did you grow up and/or where do you live now?
I was born and raised in the small town of Batesville, MS, 45 minutes outside of Memphis, TN. There, my maternal grandparents raised me in the Deep South, from living on gravel roads to raising chickens and hogs. I grew up alongside all my cousins, aunts, and uncles, who are like siblings. That upbringing taught me to live with only the necessities of life, and it’s something I’ll always appreciate. I moved to California 27 years ago and have resided in Colton for the last 11 years.
