POMONA, Calif., September 9, 2026. LERETA, a leading national provider of real estate tax and flood services for mortgage servicers, announced today that Christa Phillips has joined the company. She will serve as Senior Vice President, Strategic Solutions & Marketing. In this role, Christa will help shape and communicate strategic solutions for LERETA in the mortgage servicing market.
Christa brings more than 20 years of mortgage servicing and operations leadership to LERETA. Most recently she served as SVP, Business Execution Senior Manager at Wells Fargo. There, she led Enterprise Complaints & Remediations for the bank’s servicing organization. She was responsible for closing out multi-year regulatory remediation efforts.
Earlier at Wells Fargo, Christa led the company’s Real Estate Tax Operations group. It is the third-largest tax servicing organization in the industry. She directed a global team of more than 500 professionals supporting 10 million annual tax transactions and $25 billion in payment volume. She also managed relationships and data exchanges with over 22,000 taxing authorities and their vendors. In addition, she oversaw Wells Fargo’s engagement with its top two tax service vendors. That work gave her direct client-side insight into what mortgage servicers need from a partner like LERETA.
Christa’s earlier roles at Wells Fargo spanned remittance and default operations, loan fulfillment and centralized mortgage sales. She was recognized with the 2025 Colorado Bankers Association Banker of Distinction Award. She was also named to the Des Moines Business Record’s 2020 Forty Under 40. Christa holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and German from Iowa State University and is based in Denver, Colorado.
