Every month, we spotlight someone from the LERETA roster. This month, get to know Staci, a VP Audit and QC Manager on our team.
What do you do in your role with LERETA?
As Audit and Compliance Manager, my role is forever changing. I manage LERETA’s annual SSAE18 and REG AB audits, as well as customer-initiated audits, questionnaires, and due diligence requests. I partner with Operations and manage our Regulatory/Escalated Complaints department, and I also oversee aspects of our Vendor Management department. In addition, I work with our Marketing department and conduct legal research to produce our quarterly newsletter, and I assist with agency research when needed. I also work closely with our IT department, as our groups work together to meet customer obligations.
How long have you worked with LERETA?
January 2026 marked my 10th year with LERETA.
What is your favorite thing about your job or working at LERETA in general?
My favorite things about working at LERETA are the different people I encounter as a result of working with so many departments through our audits and customer questionnaires. I also enjoy the fact that no two days are the same, so I’m continually challenged to adapt and learn new things.
Tell us about your family.
My parents have been married for 52 years, and I have five siblings, including my twin sister, Traci. I’ve been married to my husband, Marcus, for over a year, and together we have four kids: Jordan and Jayden (my artists) and Christian and Tyler (the athletes).
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to work out, eat, and travel. I work out at least five times a week, have cheat meals from Friday through Sunday, and get cranky if I don’t travel somewhere at least once a quarter.
Where did you grow up and/or where do you live now?
I’ve been a Cali girl most of my life. I was born in Inglewood and raised in West Covina and Victorville, CA, until I met my husband, Marcus, at the gym. Now we live in Houston.
