Every month, we’ll be spotlighting someone from the LERETA roster. This month, get to know Debra one of our Tax Status Researchers!

1. What is your role with LERETA? I work with the Tax Status Research Department and primarily with the state of Pennsylvania.  Researching delinquent and current taxes for our clients. 

2. How long have you worked with LERETA? I started with LERETA in August of 2014, after they purchased my former employee QBE. But, I’ve  been working in the real estate tax world since 1983 when I started this Tax Service journey in St. Petersburg, Florida.

3. What is your favorite thing about working at LERETA? I really love working the state of Pennsylvania.  It is always a daily challenge and is never boring, but I truly love what I do.  I work with really great leaders and an amazing team. 

4. Tell us about your family. I have 3 grown children and one amazing grandson.  My son, one of my daughters and her family all live in Delaware.  The other daughter lives in Florida.  I cherish every moment I am with any of them.

5. What do you like to do in your free time? I have been a member of our local Fire Department for about 8 years and am an avid Bingo player.   I love everything Disney and I’m a Star Trek fan.

6. Where did you grow up? I grew up in Florida.  The best thing was the easy access to all the amusement parks and it was affordable then.  The worst was the heat and humidity.  I currently reside in the state of Maryland
