Every month, we’ll be spotlighting someone from the LERETA roster. Meet Denise Amiri our Contracts Administrator. Get to know Denise below!

 

  1. What is your role with LERETA? I develop the needed contracts for our client and vendor relationships. By researching and coordinating with multiple LERETA departments and SMEs, I draft agreements that meet expectations and protect LERETA’s processes and assets. 
  2. How long have you worked with LERETA? I’ve been with LERETA for 10 years.
  3. What is your favorite thing about your job? I love sleuthing, problem-solving, researching and learning new things. Most of all I love the people I work with. We have some pretty incredible people working here. 
  4. Tell us about your family. I’ve been married 46 years and I have a son, Adam and a daughter, Anisa and now a new son-in-law, Flavio. I also have a fur baby Bailey and 2 grand-dogs Dundee the Blue Healer and Simba the Staffie. 
  5. What do you like to do in your free time?  Work in my garden, bird watching, cooking, crafting, drawing and painting.  l’m also restoring my Mom’s 1963 classic T-Bird.
  6. Where did you grow up? I grew up in Forest Falls, 65 miles east of Pomona. Nothing beats the 4 seasons, unspoiled nature and the quiet…my nearest neighbor was 2 miles away. I live in Rowland Heights now and my home backs up to Puente Hills Nature Preserve so I have lots of wild animals and birds — including a mated pair of Coopers Hawks. Reminds me of home
