Every month, we’ll be spotlighting someone from the LERETA roster. This month, get to know Roshan Jackson from our HR team.

1. What is your role with LERETA? My role in LERETA primarily focuses on the Human Resources side of the company, payroll, job title creation, events, etc.

2. How long have you worked with LERETA? I’ve been working for LERETA since February of 2019. I started out as an agency temp who was brought on board for some basic data entry, 5 years later I am still here and have had the opportunity to grow with the company.

3. What is your favorite thing about working at LERETA? The favorite part about my job is supporting my coworkers across the company. It’s comforting to hear that they can rely on me. I’ve always strived to ensure everyone has a seamless experience with me and I can resolve any issues they may encounter.

4. Tell us about your family. I was born in Oceanside, CA both of my parents are retired Marines. Luckily for me, they were both stationed at Camp Pendleton, my dad was deployed several times. My mother retired after 10 years of service and then we moved to Atlanta around 1997. I moved back to California in 2007 in San Diego

5. What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time I go to the gym a lot and listen to and work on a lot of music, I am a big movie enthusiast as well.

6. Where did you grow up? I grew up in both California and Georgia, but I would say that Georgia molded my personality. I currently live in LA. I enjoyed living in Georgia just for the atmosphere and the family bonding they cherish so much. I also really enjoy LA due to the fast nature of the city and the endless possibilities of growth.
